Toronto Maple Leafs looking at options on left wing but who is available?

The Toronto Maple Leafs are looking at some options to improve the team’s forward depth but who is available? Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti discuss the report from Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, who says the Leafs are looking at options on the left wing and what this could say about Nick Robertson’s future with the team. Mike and Dave pivot to see if there are potential players the Leafs could bring into camp on a PTO that would be worth considering. To end the show, Dave sets up a Blind Ranking for Mike with random forwards from across the league.

  1. From a trade rumor that leafs trying to aquire 60 points Forward Frank Vatrano at 1.3m retained and F Brett Leason or F Sam Colangelo and 4th in 2025 for F Nick Robertson sign and trade and C David Kampf and RD Conner Timmins and Conditional 3rd pick in 2027 if Frank Vatrano resign with leafs ducks would get leafs 2nd in 2027 if true or not we will see? And from trade rumors that Ducks are the front runner for Nick Robertson if true or not we will see?

  2. Robertson is a small guy, he isn't fast, he's not physical and is injury plagued. Trade his rights with Liljegren for more grit and someone who can contribute in the playoffs. Liljegren hears footsteps in the corners and isn't rugged enough.

  3. Under the new coache's team playing style, Robertson is ANOTHER pushover! This team has more than enough, and don't need another small floater for the playoffs! Get another body on the cheap that has size and possible upside. You can't teach size!
