The question is not “is Trent Williams good?”, let alone “would suddenly removing Trent Williams from the line-up midseason hurt?” The answer to both of those questions is relatively clear and undisputed by all parties.
So we had a post by Paraag earlier and now we have a post by Trent’s agent. My goodness these contract signings cannot come soon enough.

Trent Williams is the 49ers best player, he needs to have his contract adjusted before week 1, we cannot afford to lose games because we don’t have Trent out there.

Stat is crazy. Trent is an actual force. That said, purdy was also concussed for 2 of these games.

He’ll get his contract. I’m not worried, but it’s glaringly obvious to see & realize that Lynch & Shanahan need to think about the future and slowly start to develop.
It’s BA I’m more concerned with, especially since CeeDee just 36M one million more than JJ aka “The Griddy.”

I don’t envy John Lynch’s job right now. The gymnastics of the salary cap is mind-boggling. On the other hand, he still looks fresh and healthy considering since being hired from day one. I look a Shanahan, and the dude looks like he’s aged 20 years!
I think trent is great an especially with the right tackle issues but Trent wasn’t the reason we lost those games. It was mostly turnover luck and a defense that could not get a stop.

What if he’s healthy, but on a different team? Maybe Brock just needs to know that Trent is well.
Cool story and we all know the teams better with Trent. But if Trent is trying to destroy our cap for the next few years then I’ll take a tank job for one year and draft his replacement next draft or buy one in FA.
Guy is extremely old and going to play less football every season at a decreasing quality.
