    Honestly though, the hope is that a backup never sees the field, so I trust the front office/MLF to do what’s best for the team

  5. I like this a lot. Malik has shown steady growth at the Titans, but now we can inject him with the Tom Clements secret sauce method.

  15. Great low risk pickup. Was projected #2 QB in an awful ‘22 class. 3 short years later. 7th round pick sounds fine to me.

  22. I remember dark moments of last year when there were some here (fortunately not too many) calling for us to start Clifford over Love.

  23. Love this trade – I won a Super Bowl with him as my QB on the Giants in Madden 24, obviously that translates 1:1 in real life.

  24. Kind of trade that you hope the guy never sees the field. That would mean Jordan Love is injured. Don’t want that. He is a better backup option than we have now. My guess is Clifford is cut and Pratt will be cut and put on the practice squad. Can’t seem anyone gambling on him in waivers.

  25. Totally cool with me. All 3 of these guys aren’t good, but Willis is the best of the crop. Regardless, we’re probably screwed if Love gets hurt no matter who the backup is

  32. This is great for Willis. He was always a project QB with great upside that got sent somewhere that couldn’t develop him (and arguably didn’t want to).

    Now he gets to spend at least 1 year with Tom Clements, Matt LaFluer, and Jordan Love, with no pressure to be that guy. Just sit and learn.

  33. Remember the guy with the candyman username or something like that from last year who was adamant that Clifford was better than Love and that Gute should be fired? Wonder where he’s at now
