  1. “We know you’re disappointed you don’t get to hear Roy’s flawless commentary for the next hour but don’t worry Tim fucking Laudner is on deck to babble for a while”

  2. What you get for startin this game

Fuckin dumbest 24+ hours of twins baseball in a long time

Hope every one stays safe n enjoy your night. Enjoy it

  3. Honestly kinda disappointed in some regulars here DEFENDING playing in this weather. There’s literally sirens going off and yall are just like “oh well 🤷‍♂️”. This isnt a thing to fuckin play with

  4. you’d think the home team would take the home team advantage and delay the game but maybe its more complicated than that

  5. There has to be a time threshold that need to be met to delay a start time. They had no idea when this would hit exactly. Sucks they couldn’t push it back.

  6. Well, the cope is that the 3rd wild card spot is the much better spot to be compared to the 2nd

  7. I haven’t played baseball since 8th grade, I guarantee I can do this bad, bring me up Rocco.

  8. Up to the home team to call somethin for weather before first pitch

Once game starts I do think it is up to ump

At lease that’s my remembrin on that one

  9. Who’s hearing sirens?? Nothing here in Blaine (no sirens).

Our lights flickered twice, anyone lose power yet?

  10. Idk why everyone is dunking on Ober he’s been clearly our best and most reliable pitcher all year. Every guy is gonna have a bad outing especially when it’s so hot he can’t grip the ball due to humidity and sweat.

  11. To the people saying “oh it was the fans choice to come out, you know who didnt have a choice? THE USHERS WHO ARE PREDOMINANTLY MADE UP OF ELDERLY PEOPLE AND SPECIAL NEEDS PEOPLE! YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULDNT BE IN THIS SHIT, WHO WOULDNT BE IN THIS SHIT IF THE GAME WAS PUSHED

  12. Evidently even the Twins weather team (is that even a thing, lol?) is playing like garbage right now because that was just a dumb decision.

  13. since we’re in for a long rain delay, i’d like to reiterate my conspiracy theory that Correa’s bum ankle is acting up and the plantar fasciitis is just a cover story for it

  14. If the game is cancelled would they redo the whole game another day or would they pick it back up from the 3rd inning another day?

  15. I’m confused.

Anybody with a mobile device from this decade can see that a storm of a “more red than green” magnitude would hit around 7 (you know, twenty minutes past first pitch?), and would last through around 10/11pm (remember, it’s a Monday in the last week of August – plenty of private and charter schools are up and running).

So, in what world baseball is playable in these conditions? Or, better yet, in what world is starting a game with these conditions being all but imminent even a remotely good idea?

    Again, confused.

  16. On the bright side, it looks like the Gaurdians and Red Sox are both going to lose both of their two games today, so our playoff chances will actually go up somehow

  17. What sucks is that we have to complete this game. And down 9-1 there is zero incentive for the guys or Rocco to give it a full effort, and I don’t blame them. So why even complete the game? Hopefully something crazy happens but I just can’t imagine being a Twin and having any desire to give a full effort after a delay with this score.

  18. Nothing like making Ober pitch in a literal sauna when the game should have been suspended by noon

  19. Given how this season is going, I know longer care if we are near the top of the on-field payroll or not. What I want is for Twins to be the absolute top by a large margin for the absolute best wellness professionals available. Strength coaches, dietitians, sports psychologists, yoga instructors, whatever it takes to keep whatever money spent on players *on the field*.
