Javier Báez will undergo right hip surgery, ending his 2024 season

I hope he heals up and wish the best for him, but I also hope he gets traded or bought out and is 8,000 miles away from the starting lineup in 2025.
It wasn’t a hip injury that was causing him to swing at pitches thrown at the on-deck circle.

Is Javy gonna port the Patrick Kane hip repair/ late career reincarnation to MLB? Not holding my breath but that would make for some sick highlight reel.

I can already see the reports next spring training how Javy is feeling the best he has since he got here and is poised to bounce back.
