Broberg and Holloway didn't want to take less and it is good that Bowman didn't match the offer.
Would be cool if they could convince McDavid and Drai to do a deal that puts the first 2 years at like 2 mil and piece and just bring in some crazy players.
Good news! Looking forward to the Draisaitl extension news conference. I would also love to see Gagner sign a 2-way deal. I thought he was pretty effective last season, and could contribute to the Oilers in limited games as an injury backup.

With the Oilers big guns/ leaders leaving money on the table, the future does look bright. They seem to be building the "Right" culture in Edmonton, led by the biggest stars.

I have a feeling the 29 signing will be drama filled. I hope it gets done ASAP , he sign, because that almost guarantees a 97 signing the following year

The Sam situation only proves there is zero point on loyalty in the NHL or any pro sport… get your money cause they wont have a second thought getting rid of yeah no matter how much time, blood and sweat you put in. No way Draisaitl is work that money.. played like shyte last year… wouldnt give him a penny over 12 mill on 8 years.
I dump that Darnell's contract like a rotting bubonic plague infested corpse and save this franchise.
If Draisaitl signs at 13.5 million, I find it hard to argue that he left money on the table.
