Tennessee Titans TRADE Malik Willis to Packers, Roster Cuts Begins & No Trade for Ernest Jones

The Tennessee Titans traded quarterback Malik Willis on Monday to the Green Bay Packers in a smart deal. Another Ran Carthon masterclass. Next, the roster cuts have begun and it is all names that should have got the axe. Finally, the Titans sustained some injuries at linebacker including Chance Campbell and a name that is on the market makes some sense, but trading for Ernest Jones isn’t smart if you look closer.

  13. Malik, like most QBs in the Titan org was killing his career staying in Tennessee. Finally some hope he'll get coached appropriately in an organization that knows something about QB play. Good luck with Levis. In a few years he might be worth a 4th or 5th.

  14. Wasn’t he a third round picked? How is that a fantastic move. You mean to say a horrible pick that was salvaged? Packers can remove the middle man and trade another 7 for a 3?

  16. As a 25+ year titans fan you probably have one of the best channels I've watched in a while. I agree about the linebacker position unless you have a luke kuechly, ray lewis, patrick willis type of talent. Can't remember the last time I was this exited for the season to start. TitanUp!

    10 to 11 draft picks a year. What
    does the Packers GM care about a 7th
    rounder for. He'll make it up with his
    three 7th rounders He gets every year. Great move by Brian Gutekunst.
    One of the best GM's in the NFL.

  25. Keeping 3 QBs on the roster is just kinda silly nowadays. If your starting QB gets seriously hurt your season is likely over. If your backup QB also gets hurt your season is for sure OVER. If you have to go to QB-3 just run wild cat and pick the best QB (or best player) in the following year's draft cause you'll likely have the #1 pick.

  31. You just effed up. How tf can you be glad Malik is gone. I knew Malik was a bust coming from of all places LIBERTY. The guy has shown ALOT of development over the last 2yrs of horrible offensive coaches. You give him a few months in these new coaches an he develops into what we seen Sunday. An your praising this. Yall are fool. The new scheme in the nfl is mobile, able to read the field an make plays. So imagine if he had more time under our new coaches an assistants. This was absolutely stupid

  35. It's a master move because yall White mfer hates to see a blk QB successful. But I know Bud Adam's rolling in his grave. Never seen Titans look good without a blk QB being the starter.
