This makes zero sense to me… Monti has to have another trade lined up.

When did Cam Thomas leave the Brooklyn Nets to come play LB for us?
Not very surprised tbh. I liked Thomas predraft but he just doesn’t fit as a 3-4 OLB. He either needed to add weight and move to 3-4 DE or go a team that runs a 4-3 defense, which I’m pretty sure the Chiefs run. Hope he can turn his career around.
Monti has to be cooking something up, I reserve judgment for now.
If you were going to cut a player, but you can trade him for anything, chalk it up as a win.
