  1. The Tigers genuinely look better and better and they also played a team that has lost 101 games or something….100, or 101. If they didn't sweep these guys it should of have been a big concern. I am gonna temper my excitement with that pesky thing called "reality".

  2. It’s best for everyone involved that Javy go on the DL. He’s played his last game as a Tiger. Let it be a cautionary tale for signing a second fiddle free agent and over paying.

  3. The Tigers schedule down the stretch isn’t very tough. They have a series against the Padres, one against the Royals and two against the Orioles. Aside from that they have the Angels, A’s, and Rockies. Another against the ChiSox, and the Rays and Red Sox…who seem to be kinda falling apart. There’s no reason this team can’t finish over .500 and maybe end up the first team out of the Wild Card.

  4. Picture this team with Flaherty and Kelly. Things could be interesting. Im amazed that Madden has improved as Ive been to 3 games he pitched in Toledo this season where he got shelled. Tigers pitching R%D is elite. They didnt improve Kenta Migraina but hes 48 and washed up. People crack me up over thinking Jung is doing well- hes not, striking out alot and getting a little pc of the ball for occasional singles, he hit the hanger of the year to the warning track. Jung hit about .198 last 100 ABs at Toledo with many K's, to me hes kinda cartoonish with the dog tags, unbuttoned uniform, jumping around, protesting strikeouts, etc. Tork stopped the looping of the bat over his head that I preached about changing and is now hitting straight threw the ball instead of with a long looping swing. Its a shorter, simple, more direct path to the ball that allows him to watch the pitch and react instead of guessing or rushing the swing.

  5. RIP to Don Wert. ❤️ Remembering the '68 season, and the incredible Denny McClain.
Could Meadows get some ROY votes, based on his comeback? Colt Keith should definitely be in the mix, i think. Baltimore will likely have something to say about ROY. Is their young guy still performing?
    Prayers for Javy!
    500! 🤩
