In a strange twist of events I have been handed down a “give-away” from the home opener in the 1982 season Vikings vs. Buccaneers game- first ever regular season game held at the metrodome. (Which we won 17-10)
It is a yellow vinyl cylinder cooler. My family – die hard Vikings fans – are foggy on the details of how we got this but think it might have been a gift for the first set of season ticket holders (my grandpa). It is in MINT condition, clearly never been used.
I’ve searched everywhere online to find details of how many of these exist or the story of how they came about and can’t seem to find anything.
I’m interested to see if any fans out there also have one or remember these and maybe have cool stories.
