  1. in my opinion, its a terrible decision to start bruce brown. he's not a very great defender(he's decently good, can't defend the post cause he's only 6'3/6'4). He also can't shoot, he shot well on low volume two seasons prior to last, but went back to form this past season. If we want optimal spacing around Scottie(and even Poeltl), Gradey needs to start. We have good shooters off the bench as well(Mitchell, Olynyk, Agbaji{he'll get back to his regular 35%}) so there is no reason to start Brown. We talk about rebounding and playing guys out of position, but Raptors fans have to realize that Scottie is 6'8/6'9 with a 7'3 wingspan, he grabs boards, Poeltl is 7'1 and grabs boards, boucher and olynyk together in the frontcourt/center will be bigger bodies to add to rebounding stats off the bench, and Bruce Brown is a 'better' rebounder for his position. I agree with the starters will be Quickley/Gradey/RJ/Scottie/Poeltl, because it's out best lineup, and rebounding will be very good. Everyone if forgetting that RJ is 6'6 and grabbed around 6 rebounds a game for the raptors, and Quickley(despite being 6'2) grabbed 5 rebounds a game. There is no reason to worry about rebounding with this lineup. It will have better spacing, better defensive potential, and very good rebounding. Trust me, I know this team

  2. I was ready to trade Bruce a week into his tenure.. ain’t no way we tryna justify starting him now 😂😂 mf couldn’t hit layups, like clear path breakaway layups.. just sayin..

  3. It largely depends on what the team feels like they need in the lineup. If they want more perimeter defense, they should start Bruce (plus it’s a good opportunity to showcase his trade value). If they want more shooting around Scottie, they should start Gradey, or move Scottie to the 3 and put Olynyk at the 4, although the big depth is weak for the Raptors. Either way, it’s a good chance to experiment and develop for this upcoming season.

  4. This team has no future, man. They're not even selling hope atp they're saying we know we suck balls but here's a purple jersey in the meantime. F that sh*t. Masai needs to GO.

  5. Massai has had two trading periods to move Brown. No one wants him at 23 million . We would have been better off not picking up the option an signing a couple of Free angents that might help the team more

  6. Bruce is a decent player but not on a team as untalented as the Raptors. He is best suited for a playoff Caliber team.
We Drafted Mogbo.. He is not proven but we need to Throw him into the starting Power forward Position. Key ti this team will be 3pt shot and Defense in your over all Balance at time of floor.
Your Starters as projected base on what there are being Paid will not be the line up that succeed if we are going to win. Expect Raps to start players base on the money they make not necessarily what's best for the team.. this is a real problem in the Nba.
I would start Barnes at Power forward. Yak at Centre for now.. Rj at small forward.. Quick at shooting guard Davion Mitchel a point. Small back court but this way you have more defense in Barnes and Mitchel. You could even replace RJ in the starting line up with OLYNICK and move Barnes over to small forward. This way you have huge front line yes small back court with more and rebounding. But as I stated b4.. Players are played base on the amount of Money they make so expect the typical not outside the box lineups from Darko so sad.

  7. i understand that we want Gradey to start but he’s more dynamic coming off the bench. bruce brown is the better option right now until we shop him.

  8. If you don’t start Gradey dick you’re sending a bad message. Dick has to start. There shouldn’t even be a second thought. Doug smith is 1 foot into the old folks home and one foot into the grave. I wouldn’t be to worried about what him or Michael “my sources tell me” grange say. They are both clueless idiots who just throw guesses around like darts

  9. This team still lacks toughness and defence. If they struggle like last year with turnovers, inconsistent shooting and bad free throws than its time to sell off Poeltl and whoever else they have as expiring contracts.

  10. I think we're probably in for a brutal season even if they don't try to tank.. so they should basically tank if it's clear after first 11 games we can't make the playoffs and really go hard after Cooper Flagg. As of the following year, try hard to win.

  11. I would be tempted to put Mogbo on the floor right off the bat. We need almost zero O (basically hit put backs and tips) from him, just would need to play D and rebound.
