Could have been way worse. Altuve or Peña could have been lost for the year.
“We’ll use the power of friendship!”
As a mariners fan sick of the Astros kicking our ass for a decade straight…I had a nice chuckle watching this…
Does it help with the suffering? Not really. But again I had a nice chuckle
Beltran/Cameron flashbacks.
lol
lmao even
Flair not relevant thank you very much
That could have ended up *so* much worse.
Did they just take a clip straight from Major League and expect us not to notice?
2012 called and it wants its Astros back.
Is Jake Meyers good?
The synchronization of the 2 both sliding feet first, hitting cleats, and spinning around on their bums is really top notch stuff.
I thought the video thumbnail had to be some kind of composite image, but no, there really were four guys in the frame at once in various stages of attempting to pick up one baseball.
Baseball is such a beautiful game
The funniest part for me is that the ball was basically directly back from 2b and the first person to actually grab it was the LF who started probably 150 feet away.
How many Astros does it take to catch a ball?
5… 4 to crash into each other and one to call an ambulance.
*Muuuhahahahaha!*
I seem to have misplaced my book on defensive responsibilities, so I’ll just ask it here.
Who covers second in this scenario? The third baseman? I’m assuming the pitcher is backing up home for a possible play there, and 1B seems like he needs to stay close to the bag to keep the runner honest.
This is something you’d expect in a comedy sketch and not an actual real baseball game
I like that the fourth guy was the one to get the ball.
This is what you call the bermuda triangle
Who’s supposed to call that ball? Center fielder coming in?
Our team has forgotten how to field a fucking baseball ever since that series against Boston.
The slow mo that happened after this on the replay was absolutely memeable on Altuve. Dude looked like he was starting to flop like a soccer player but then cancelled it mid jump.

If you want to know how our defense has played the last few series, this just about sums it up.
Glad nobody got hurt so I can appropriately laugh at this
The Three Stooges would be proud.
They could have just put a trash can out there to catch it.
Knew this was going to get posted 😂
I’m honestly just impressed by the placement of that ball. It found the one square inch of the field where this could possibly occur
What in the Cirque du Soleil was that?
It was like watching a Three Stooges bit.
Buncha jokers out ‘ere
If you hire 3 ~~clowns~~ Astros, don’t be surprised when you get a circus.
[My favorite frame](https://i.imgur.com/HefV9De.jpeg).
I saw that in major league

Houston, we have a problem
Just needs Matt Downs to [block a field goal](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMh1Zp8ETPc)
Altuve’s little “oh no” hop in there was cute…
r/therewasanattempt
Ya know, if we had put a trash can right smack in the middle, we would’ve caught that.
I’m so depressed about baseball I can’t even laugh I just feel like I’m commiserating w my ast-bros
That’s infield fly rule again, right? ….right?
Oh no, we’re back at that year where one dude slid into the other dude’s ass.
They should find a way to cheat
Misleading headline there were a few Astros that didn’t make a play on it lol. Glad no one was hurt.
Just how coach taught us in youth ball.
Ah, the ‘ol 6-4-8-7-5 putout.
Happens once a week below 13U.
I love how altuves laughing at the end. Lols
This is cathartic
How many cheaters does it take to field a bloop single?
