[Angels PR] •Selected the contract of RHP Ryan Miller •Placed LHP Matt Moore on 15-day injured list •Transferred OF Mike Trout to 60-day injured list

Mike Trout made it so much of the season without getting put on the 60-day IL, until now.
Moore looked pretty off last appearance and he’s an FA after the season. Not surprised he’s the one giving up an active roster spot.
Miller seemed to be doing alright at AAA for us. We drafted him in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 draft off the Red Sox. I’m figuring this is either an audition for next year’s bullpen or giving a guy a big league cup of coffee before letting him go.
Genuinely surprised that Mike wasn’t already on the 60 day IL.
