[Squires] Pension Plan Puppets Top 25 Under 25 – #10: Noah Chadwick

Chadwick’s improved a ton since his draft year, it’s not many 6th rounders who make it into the conversation to be on Canada’s WJC team, and 56 points is a huge step up from last year’s total of 20, with an almost identical number of games played. I think the article is right that he’s getting a lot of praise because of his draft position, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing, we haven’t had a ton of draft steals, especially on defence, it’s good to see one in the making.
Hopefully he doesn’t make the mistake of focusing entirely on defense this season as with other offensive defensemen we’ve had in the past. It’s better to focus on strengths because with his size and skill, he could be a unicorn.
