Gleyber Torres’ game ending flyout if it were in Yankee Stadium

A home run in 1/30 ballparks. It would have given the Yankees a 5-4 lead in the 9th, allowing Clay Holmes to record his 11th blown save of the season.

  1. i will always support anti Yankee Stadium propaganda no matter how stupid or meaningless it is

  2. Complaining about dimensions is for losers. Both teams are playing with the same wall and conditions every night.

The game was at Nats park that has a rather average right field and it wasn’t a homer. Deal with it.

  3. Was gonna downvote until I read to the end of the caption.

    You earned that upvote

  4. Yes, the short porch. Everyone likes to bash on it. It was the same dimensions at the old Yankee Stadium too. You know the Green Monster in Fenway is only 300 ft. down the line?

  5. Considering how many Nats fly balls ended up being fly outs in Game 1’s loss to New York, it’s only fair.

Also, Gleyber shoulda hit that fly ball in another park, moran

  6. I’ll never forget in the 2009 World Series, Matsui would hit pop home runs. New Yankee Stadium is a glorified wiffle ball stadium.

  7. The MLB should start playing on little league diamonds to appease Yankees fans.

  8. Well thank god it was at nats park I was working in centerfield and I wanted to go home. Dealing with the metro after was a nightmare because over 34,000 people were there

  9. MLB fans when they realize non-uniform stadiums will lead to one with a shortest wall: 🤬🤬🤬

  10. Bonds was destroying baseballs at Candlestick and PacBell/SBC/At&T. Judge plays on the nazi youth rec field. They are not the same.
