  1. They'll miss Ullmark, but they have upgrades elsewhere, and I expect a Korpisalo bounce back. As long as Swayman signs, I'm going bold and saying they win the Presidents. 1st in the Atlantic with 110-115 points.

  2. i've watch Swayman's interview he did this week on the shut up marc podcast and he's got his business hat on. he knows his worth and his new contract will be the benchmark for future goalies contracts up in 2025, he knows he will not be giving the team a discount and he knows this is all for the business. i think boston already regrets trading their 2023 vezina winner before signing Swayman.

  3. Will be interesting to see whether Elias Lindholm can handle the fan & media scrutiny in Boston. I'm a Canes fan & he was kind of a prickly dude through-out his tenure in Raleigh. He may work out well for the B's but I have my doubts. If the Bruins don't reach the ECF's this may very well be Jim Montgomery's final season in Beantown.

  4. The Bruins will have a lot of new faces this year so attaining the team chemistry theyโ€™ve had in recent seasons is a question. If they avoid prolonged injuries to top players they have potential to be top 3 in the Atlantic.

  5. Boston had no business standing their ground against Florida but I believe Sweeney addressed the need for more grit (Zadorov) and offensive production (Lindholm). Swayman is a very passionate goaltender and the strong veteran presence of Marchand keeps that winning contender mentality. I think overall they have a great locker room culture. I can still see them putting up great numbers this year.

  6. Boston Bruins have the highest winning percentage OF ALL TEAMS of the last 20 YEARS!! Vegas don't count – joined league 2016(8 years). But I get the haters point-of-view…winning the most games the last 20 years means absolutely nothing lol. Clowns

  7. Swayman is definitely not top 4. I would have to put Shesterkin, Bobrovsky, Vasilevsky, and Hellebuyck as the top 4, the top tier.

After that, I could see it being Swayman, but I could also see a case for a bunch of other goaltenders, including Demko and Oettinger, so all three of Shannon's favorite teams have a guy that is borderline top 5. I think Saros, Sorokin, and Markstrom would probably round out my top 10. I think Markstrom is going to look much better with New Jersey, and Ullmark is going to look much worse with Ottawa.
