  6. Someone explain this to me… how is LRZ signing to the practice squad for Jacksonville? He's not a vet and he was waived. I thought anyone picked up on waivers had to go to that teams active 53 roster.

  15. As on OU fan, I absolutely love Perine and have cheered for him his whole career. Sadly, he has been riddled with injuries in his pro career, but definitely brings up the floor of the RB room. LFG!

  16. I am a busy accountant mid-career and do not have time to sift through some of the long podcasts so Cole's is a refreshing exception. I have commented before but doing it again today. Our extended family has lived in Lincoln, NE and Columbia, MO for a number of years (met my wife at Mizzou) and been members of the Kingdom for at least 34 years. I have a T-shirt with Mahomes and Len Dawson walking arm in arm toward Arrowhead stadium. Deep roots. I have been living in the Southwest US now for over 20 years so do not have the local KC Chief's news. Cole and his excellent production team are one of my most reliable concise and thorough podcast lifelines. So, in honor of that today, and HBTC's "balling out" at training camp and their pre-season performance, I HAVE OFFICIALLY SIGNED HBTC TO MY PODCAST ROSTER WITH A MONTHLY SUBSCRIBED MEMBERSHIP! Support these guys to keep them going. It is well worth it.

  18. In theory Zappe could end up a multi-year backup after Wentz since, unlike Henne and Gabbert, he is not ancient, but, unlike Buechele and Oladokum, he does have experience and has been a starter in the league.

    Thing is that those same characteristics mean that if at any point of this season a team has multiple catastrophic injuries in their QB room they will probably go look for him at KC's practice squad.
