I believe a rebuild should only take 5 years in my view. If year 6 and your not competing than you did it all wrong.
Not every trade will be a Lindhom trade. You have to to build a team from the net out. Connie did an amazing job for his first year with what Treliving left him with. The Flames have an amazing leadership for the kids. We definitely need to trade out at the deadline, Ras and Coleman forsure. We can't do anything about Hubby, but even with Hubby we have an amazing cap hit. Naz, Wegs and Backs are our leadership for the future stars. With Connie and Iggy, we will be out of the rebuild sooner than later. Connie and Iggy back in the early 2000's were talking about much fun it would be for them to build a NHL team together. The Flames are in good hands!
