  1. The year is 2040. 48 year old Taijuan Walker takes the mound hoping to secure his first win in 16 seasons. Morale has not yet improved

  2. Bet the Blue Jays HEAVY on Tuesday.

Or, O/U runs scored for 5 innings.

Blue Jays, race to 5 runs seems like free $.

  3. Isn’t that the literal definition of insanity continues to do something even though nothing changes. WTF!?

  4. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, HOW MANY MORE CHANCES ARE YOU GOING TO GIVE MAN?!

This is professional baseball, this isn’t kiddie ball. either you have it or you don’t. At this point, it’s POOR MANAGEMENT. SORRY TOPPER. YOU GOTTA PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN.

    Sincerely,
    The City of Philadelphia

  5. I don’t understand all this Taijuan hate. Are we just forgetting the fact that the offense didn’t score 11 runs last night?!

  6. If Walker starts again this season in a game before the division is clinched, then this team isn’t serious.

  7. I say we start protesting as fans and choose to not attend games that walker will be starting!

  8. That’s an absolutely horrible idea. We could have 5 more wins than we currently do, and pitching Walker is asking for 5 more losses to our schedule on top of days we lose without him in. They’re basically asking this team to go undefeated on non-Walker days if we want that bye.

  9. At this point, grabbing some random pitcher from Taiwan would not be much worse than our Taijuan, and it would be much cheaper.

  10. I guess they really want to paint a more positive picture of him with the hopes of dumping his salary on someone else.

  11. Isn’t it time for some fans to hang out in front of CBP with some trash cans or something?

  12. Trade him to Atlanta where he’ll pitch consecutive no-no’s and shut our offense down in the post season. Oh wait, we already shut our own offense down.

  13. This is fucking stupid. Putting out there last night was stupid… and truly stupid not pulling him in the first inning.

The Phillies do a lot of things right… this is not one of them.

  14. This team, this city, this stadium NEEDS Harper to break out tonight. Bombs galore.
