Seems his case is getting overly complicated by the media. He has 1 season left on his contract. Like all players in other leagues, he’ll come over right after because he’ll want the prestige of the NHL, a shot at The Cup, NHL salaries (and he’s pretty much a lock to get paid at least 8M/yr after his ELC), all the fun and luxury of being a millionaire in North America.
Like, yes, SKA will try to woo him, but there’s just no chance of him staying given the above. Even Michkov with his 4 years remaining at his draft got out in 1 year.
His case is spilling so much more ink than it deserves.
