Comparing a team, with good bad bad hitters, to the greatest hitter alive is an unfair comparison.
They should hire Zack Greinke as their hitting coach. I hear he gives great advice.
“Do more of that.”
well their HR leader is Paul DeJong, who hasn’t played for the team in over a month
it looks like there isn’t a single starter with an OPS of at least .700 right now. only two guys had an OPS+ of 100 or better: Tommy Pham (102) who ain’t there anymore either and Moncada (120), who played 11 games before getting hurt in April
Another fun pitcher comparison:
2024 White Sox slash line: .219/.277/.338/.615
Carlos Zambrano career slash line: .238/.248/.388/.636
Also, he’s only 43?!?

Micah “Ohtani” Owings slugged .502
Suck it, Greinke
Seeing him in anything but Royals gear is kinda cursed for me…
Maldy last year had a higher SLG ouch
White Sox > Zack Greinke
I’m starting to wonder how they won 31 games.
This is exactly what my brain wanted to read today.
So we’re saying they should sign him to start at SS for them. Do it, cowards.
“We’ve got the sluuugs like Greinke, we’ve got the sluuugs like Greinke, we’ve got the sluuUUuuUUuuUUuuUUuuugs like Greinke.”
He’s great for immaculate grid.
Greinke should have been allowed to be a 2-way player.
That’s my shortstop
So you’re saying there’s still a chance that Zack gets to live his dream of playing Shortstop? SIGN THIS MAN CHICAGO!
Mom said I get to post the daily “2024 White Sox are terrible” thread tomorrow.
Greinke would be even HIGHER if not for that pesky universal DH derailing his hitting career.
