Understood that you are reporting the news and not creating it but is the Bedard to Montreal video already recorded? Only a matter of time before the Canadian media starts that one.
It obviously wouldn't happen. Who would take that huge contract even for a year? Also, Pittsburg will ask for one of our best kids in return at least and probably a draft pick. Price is too steep for sure.

I think their is no way that Sidney Crosby would not get it done his interest not involve with Montreal I rejected it that, offer their is no deal give out PTO will not stand his contract another year I have another Conversation with Toronto would make Sense better fit exase to that team, I accept it that term will happen. Actually according to Brad Traveling I would give out offer sheet to Sidney Crosby & his best agreement.
In what world for what purpose?
Montreal is probably two years from trying to get into the playoffs and five from challenging for a cup. So why would Crosby come and what role could he play on the team?

1. I would love to see Sid in the rouge, blanc, et Bleu wearing the CH logo but only if he's still playing at his current level of skill, intensity, desire. I don't want Sid the Gimp…..that would be a waste of $$$ and space for the Habs.
2. Having said that….I suspect if Sid allows himself to be traded it would most likely be to the Avs….a Bluenose reunion with Nate to make a Cup run. That makes the most sense to me.
To be realistic, to get Crosby, Habs would have to give young high sealing prospects. Caufield, Dach, Newhook, Reinbacher, Baron, Maulloux are the players I would be ready to let go. 2-3 players from the list, maybe some picks. Sydney is still a 70-80 pps player
Montreal benefits nothing from Crosby on a rental for a year tho, especially to give up futures for him to leave July 1 back to Pittsburgh
