  1. As much as I love the guy, it’s been extremely entertaining watching excited Mavs fans talk about Klay like the injuries didn’t happen. You can tell they haven’t watched him very much the past two years.

  2. Quote taken hella out of context. I’d love to see the full quote instead of the spin:

    > Golden State parted ways with Curry’s longtime sidekick and “splash brother” Klay Thompson last season, which he anticipates will be a “challenge” for his squad, but the Olympian likes being counted out. “I love the fact that people don’t think we can keep the pace with some of the other teams that they’re picking in the West,” he says. “And I just love that challenge of stepping into a training camp and being able to create your own success — that gets me going.”

  3. I personally think a lil’ bit of firepower can get us a deep playoff run. Remember the 2021-22 Death Lineup was the #1 starting 5..

If Andrew Wiggins steps up to his pay, which is iffy, and if Jonathan Kuminga can play at an all-star caliber level, that’s enough firepower to start cooking.

  4. ATP i just want the season to start already I miss dubs basketball (when they fire on all cylinders) and i’m getting real tired of watching the giants’ postseason hopes dash away with each game.

  5. Klay’s an all time great and was hugely important to the dynasty, but there’s an off chance that him leaving will lead to better development and yeah… Maybe more running. That could be nice.

  6. People are not counting warriors out because of klay leaving, they are counting on draymond imploding and getting multiple suspensions again.

  7. There is always a chance when Steph is at his best. The fact that Lebron & KD respect him should tell any critic to shut up.

  8. If Draymond can stay present and healthy we’re definitely doing better than last year and with kuminga getting slightly better it will help a ton

  9. I know everyone wants to try and predict how the season will go for their team and favorite player. But at this point, it’s impossible to predict anything. So much can and will happen before the season even starts, and then more changes once things get rolling. Every year, there are teams that should be at the top but end up failing, and there’s always surprise over-performers. Trades and signings that looked great on paper end up crashing and burning. And of course the inevitable injuries. All that to say I have no idea how this season will go, but you’re a fool if you count out any Steph Curry led team before the season even starts.
