  1. Ducks have the best young center group, all in the NHL now…and some great young D as well. Fowler looks good, disciplined. You are way off base re-the flower. Check that at the door.

  2. Does everyone remember when Primeau was drafted, he was the best goalie in the NCAA and was the goalie of the future for the habs…and how quickly everyone turned on him…Same with Norlinder and same with a lot of other prospects…..don’t get too excited….

  3. I think one of the things with Fowler is that he is an NCAA goalie. If he had the same numbers in the CHL he would be up there at the top of goalie prospects. The 34 game cap on the NCAA compared to 68 in the CHL leaves questions of if elite goalies in the NCAA can handle the work load of a longer season . Fowler played 39 games last season and had exceptional numbers, but there is still the big question of if he can do that consistently playing 60ish games a season or will he be more of a 1A/1B type starting goalie tandem.

  4. Hasek played with such huge equipment thats why his style worked, if he played in 80s he would have looked silly. Roy was great with small, avg, huge equipment 80s to 2000s.

  5. Tim Thomas was a great goalie, always had is eye on the puck too, yet flopped around like a fish out of water 😂 played nothing like Tukka Rask did for the Bruins shortly after.

  6. Fowler is too small to be considered a great prospect. I believe the thought is that given his lack of size it will be easier to spot weakness in his play.

  7. he's not the norlinder we once hyped….that alone should make you kids realzie these guys dont know what theyre talking about.

Levi had similar numbers. You see how he's struggling?

  8. I never had a good feeling about Monty. Get rid of him and bring up Fowler. I have the same feeling about Fowler that I did with Price. Monty will NEVER win them a cup. It is the last piece of the Habs puzzle the will get them to the top of the mountain. Fowards are in, Defence is done. Great job Kent. Just finish the job.
