Hey, everyone! Although we tried to be super diligent, we could have missed a detail or two at some point, sorry in advance. We produced/wrote every song in this video. We're considering posting the songs from this video, along with the previous soundtrack from part 1, on streaming services. Let us know if you would be interested in listening to it as background music for studying/getting work done!
If you liked the video, give us suggestions for more content! Thank you so much for watching guys!
Love this video, reminded me how much of a poverty franchise you are, go knights
This video got you a follow. Fantastic synopsis
im not even a hockey fan and this shit was fire đ„
Gotta talk about that game 7 comeback vs Vegas tho
We really need the Cup in San Jose. We've had the Patty and Jumbo era, the Pavs and Couch era, now's the Smith and Celebrini era. And you can tell the excitement by seeing some of the former Sharks coming back to San Jose. Even though they are not players anymore, Patty and Jumbo deserves the Cup seeing how they made impact to the franchise.
Great video!! Thanks for sharing
5:27 thatâs how he got his nickname âno show joeâ always disappeared in the playoffs
I resisted watching this… Didn't wanna relive the pain. I've been a sharks fan since I was 5 and my parents drove me to kindergarten passing the SAP center construction site.
I'm 38…
Love my team, would never deny them.. but damn… đ€ They win one in my 40's
I'm not a very outwardly emotional man, but I'll admit that when the sharks won the draft lottery.. I got teary eyed. And it was on my 38th birthday.
I'm ready, we're ready for the "climb up".
Bittersweet watch for me. I lost so much money, time, and energy obsessing over this team. They ruined my childhood, but taught me so many life lessons and brought me closer to my family. Was cool to take a trip down memory lane. Thanks for this.
Hey guys, unfortunately, Sportsnet thinks that the 2011 clip of Vancouver beating San Jose in double overtime is from a 2021 game between Winnipeg and Edmonton, they copyrighted the entire video because of that clip so we had to trim it out.
Sorry it had to be trimmed out. Hope it doesn't ruin the video for you guys!
This one hits close to home. Iâve grew up in San Jose born here. Played hockey throughout grade school and have been a diehard shark fan as long as I can remember. I was there for most of these moments.
I'm a Kings fan, but was cheering for the Sharks in 2016. I wanted them to do it, but of course…they didn't.
As a lifelong fan whoâs spent time working at the sharks games, I really appreciate this video giving me some more hope for seasons to come. You contextualized the rebuild in a way no one else has for me. Great video. Canât wait for Jumbo jersey retirement night
Dude, this is amazing quality content. Good shit
Unreal video! Really enjoyed it. New sub
As a Pens fan, I wouldâve rooted for the Sharks if they played anyone else in the 2016 Cup but I had no choice but the Sharks shouldâve had at least 1 cup in the Thornton/Marleau/Pavelski era. 2010 was their best chance other than 2016 but the Blackhawks were just too much
I was born in 91 in Santa Cruz. I had the Sharks bomber jacket as a toddler with the crunch logo on the back. The Sharks are the only pro team in any sport I actively root for, and these last five years have been hard. I watched the 2016 finals while on deployment on the Truman at like 3am on armed forces network, and that game six was hard to watch for me, but I hoped they could bounce back. Losing Pavs was like losing the heart. Cooch is a great captain, donât get me wrong, but losing a guy who had spent his entire career there, the Sharks who normally kept players because of the fun environment, suddenly wasnât. Players started leaving left and right after Pavs, and not just the stars. Goodie, Sorensen, Melker Karlsson, Donskoi, Dilly etc. The depth guys that really filled the team out
2019 was so so close too, if Erik Karlsson wasnât playing injured we might have got over that hump.
Great video. Makes me fall back in love with this team I grew up watching. I'll never forget going to game 1 of the 2019 WCF, hopefully we'll get to see that type of hockey in the bay again soon.
I'm a Pens fan, but San Jose has always been that Western Conference team, that I wanted to see do good. Have family from right outside of San Jose , the Sharks is an awesome name and logo , and Marleau was probably my favorite non-Penguin ( until he became one ) . That 2016 final was awesome as a Pens fan, but I still felt a little bad for y'all. All the talent and some fantastic regular seasons , but 0 cups , that's gotta sting. Y'all will be back .
38:27 The Oilers beat the Sharks in the 2017 playoffs in the first round, not second.
Other than that, great video!
The Thornton, marleau, couture, pavelski, burns sharks team shouldâve won the cup, I find it crazy they never did. Were such a great team for so long. Btw As a Canucks fan I forgot we got swept by the sharks in 12/13 thats how miserable itâs been for a Canucks fan since that season lmao đ haha ( but I remember 3011) Finally we had some playoffs and a good regular season this year, hopefully more to come and we face the sharks again in the playoffs soon and make a new rivalry
Joe thornton will go down as one of the worst leaders possible
Yep. Bittersweet. đ man. Thanks for this.
these overalls like nhl really made this easier to understandđ
Amazing man. Keep up the good work! -Sharks fan
I watched this entire playoff run while stationed in Guam. I was at a local dive bar grabbing lunch and game 6 was on TV (thanks to the time difference). Had a buddy on the boat that was a massive Sharks fan and was going to watch the replay of the game after work⊠I didnât have the heart to ruin it for him.
