LockedOnCavs is looking for questions for a Reddit Mailbag

Hey all,

Danny Cunningham and the good folks at LockedOnCavs are looking to do a 'mail bag' episode with questions from our sub.

What's your cavs question or hot take you'd like discussed on the pod?

  1. Here’s my question:

The team obviously sees Mobley as the ceiling raiser for the team moving forward

Was last year indicative of his future role on the team or just a stepping stone to that role?

    More pointedly:

Trying to force a 3ball (which has come along well) instead of letting him operate from the high post as the offensive hub (he has good vision) and add an elbow extended jumper, the 3ball seems like a longer path to him growing into a star

Does Evan’s role extend to playmaking and driving in the Cavs 3 year plan or do they want him to play how he has been on offense, but just add a decent 3ball to space for others

  2. What are the Cavs plans about a third big behind Evan and JA? Is Thor expected to spot start in the event one of them are out? Seems like a huge void that would make or break a season

  3. Okoro is still sitting there without an extension as the season inches closer. We’re close to the 1st apron and want to stay below it. Do you see a deal getting done or will he walk as a free agent next year?

  4. Selfishly, I’d like them to answer my hypothetical Cavs team builder question from this past week:

Build a 5 man squad of Cavs players past and present who have never been teammates.

    For example:
    Donovan Mitchell
    Austin Carr
    Lebron James
    Lauri Markannen
    Brad Daugherty

  5. Realistically, how can the Cavs do all of the following for next year?

    – Retain Okoro
    – Field a full roster of 14 players
    – Stay under the luxury tax

    I just don’t see a way.

    Thanks
