Obligatory “I’m gunna miss this place” post

This was a bittersweet thing… Probably my last game at the Coli… With everything going on in the world, i kept telling myself that there are more important things going other than your favorite team leaving your home…

But i needed one last chance to say my goodbyes and reminisce about better times.

When we walked up to the stadium, i literally started to get emotional… this team has meant so much to me and so much for thousands of others. Hundreds of games coming here and i never realized that their time in Oakland would eventually be up…

We met multiple employees today that i recognized from coming here game after game, shitty season after shitty season (although there were some highlights). One employee had been working the Coli for 21 years!! Both of us were wearing matching “Baseball’s Last Dive Bar” wrist-bands. We shared some laughs with them, cried with them, took photos with them, and all shared the same sentiment: FJF. Sell the goddamn team!!!

Going to miss this concrete jungle, the troughs, the friendly staff, and the amazing fans.

I’m done with the MLB, as A’s fans, we have been treated like absolute trash on multiple levels and this day felt like a funeral…. But it was good to get that closure i guess.

As much as there are more important things going on in the world, i think we all deserve this closure. I hope you all get to experience one last game. Just please for the love of god after this season, don’t give another dime to this nepo-baby douchebag owner.

Have fun in Sac! Im sure it’ll be miserable! Vegas Beware! I feel for all of the A’s players that have to endure this owners garbage.

Sending love to all of my fellow Oakland Athletics fan family. You all have made this team so important to me over the years and i will always still be connected to all of you. And i know that i’ll never experience the same at any other ballpark. 💛💚
