Found this post from a basketball IG page but found it hilarious they don’t consider Houston remotely scary enough for them to get mentioned Lolol

Why do you find it hilarious? They haven’t even made the playoffs yet, how are they contenders?

Do the Rockets just cease to exist?
I wouldn’t lose any sleep over what these content aggregators post but in answer to your question we are in that outside ring of play in teams with clips, Lakers, kings, gsw etc.
I’d put Cavs, magic etc a little higher than us and then there are the obvious big dogs who are the real contenders.
Heat are the one I have no clue about, I’d expect them to get worse this season but you can’t rule Spo out.
we should focus on making the play in tournament first then worrying about contending a few years later
Pacers being on the line is a bit crazy, same with the Lakers. Cavs should be on the line, been a playoff teams since DM got traded there.
I’d swap the kings and Lakers. We could be swapped with the warriors. Outside looking in
Imo 41-41 this year is improvement. The West is tougher and we’re still very young.
Outside looking in. This is a team was the 11 seed in the west last year & is going on 5 years since they last made the playoffs
People are gonna sleep on us until we win 50+ games. Most fans don’t give a shit what’s going on with other teams, they just saw us at the bottom of the league for 3 years. It’s gonna take a while to get any recognition even though we know we’ll be better than a lot of those on the fence teams. Media values star power over depth.
We are not legitimate contenders. Let’s make the playoffs before we start worrying about a championship window.

Outside looking in but potentially could be on the fence if everyone plays to their potential and plays team ball (specifically defense).
