Looney: “I’ve been doing a lot of work. Going into this season a little different, expand my game & try to grow. I’m going to shoot the ball a lot more. It’s something that I’ve been practicing for years, but now it’s time for me to shoot 3s, more midranges. Steve wanted me to improve in that area”

  1. Smart move. Losing Klay means we need to make up that scoring from the other players. Looney never had to be a scorer with Klay and Curry on the team.

  2. This is going to be Great!

    Looney is a real one!

Anything he has taken seriously, he has conquered!

Looking forward to it Big Man!

  3. This is nice to hear, but I really hope Steve goes into this season with last season in mind. He should have Trayce higher than Looney in the depth chart. We missed the 6th seed by 4 wins last year. And part of our woes for the first 42 games was Kerr starting Looney 36 times despite his obvious drop off.
