It has been 244 long days since the Denver Broncos played an NFL game and I can hardly wait. Over those 244 days, it’s hard to express the brilliant moves this team has made. From Sean Payton’s genius baiting of other teams to orchestrate Bo Nix falling to us in the draft with the 12th pick, from revamping our defensive line, from eating Russell Wilson’s cap hit and still somehow signing our two best players to long term deals, we really seem to be batting 1000 in Denver. In this video we break down how the signing of Patrick Surtain to a long term deal really was brilliant especially since just a few hours after his signing the Miami Dolphins removed his “highest paid corner” label. We also look at the brilliant way the Denver Broncos navigated the 53 man cut down and snuck ‘Lil Jordan and Michael Burton to the practice squad. How smart it was to keep 3 quarterbacks as we are not even 12% into week 1 and a starting quarterback is already out. We look at how Davis Webb has brilliantly developed Bo Nix into a captain and a franchise quarterback.

We do need to temper our expectations as Bronco fans for Bo. We saw the winning formula when we brought Manning to Denver and have been expecting winning football since then. We haven't given Qbs enough time, development or experience to let them figure it out in the nfl. I'm all for Bo but let the kid grow on his own win or lose.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, let’s make sure we show a bit more patience than we showed for Lynch and Lock.
