Hard to see how it was a good thing for Mahomes to sit his rookie year. Seems unlikely he went from the brink of ruination to league MVP in one year. Probably cost the Chiefs a deep playoff run that year.
Honestly a pretty good review for maye, bill is notoriously tough on qbs
You know there’s no way BB would have drafted Maye the way he’s talked about him. The way BB talks it’s the system that elevates the QB and not the QB that elevates the system.
Do we really want insight from the guy who turned the Patriots roster into Northern Illinois and the cuck leader of his fan club? Cause I don’t. 😆

Nothing really controversial there, just the obvious. Maye has the physical and needs a lot of work on the rest. If he develops, sky is the limit.

I honestly give zero stock to either when it comes to QB evaluation. Belichick’s 2nd best QB out of the dozen he’s drafted was Matt Cassel. Matt Cassel played 4 years of college football and over those 4 years threw 33 total passes. About 8 passes per season. He completed 60% of them with 0 TDs and 1 INT. Meaning there was quite literally no film on him worth watching. Meaning, Bill Belichick’s two best QBs out of the DOZEN he drafted were a once in a lifetime 6th round lottery ticket and a guess based on nothing.
I’m so glad Bill isn’t running the team anymore. Not a chance in hell he would have taken Drake. Bill just wanted you to not fuck up, he didn’t give a damn about upside.
Surprised Lombardi wasn’t down on his knees while in the same room as Bill
Watching the way bill evaluates QBs genuinely makes me wonder how he ever convinced himself to draft one 😭😭😭 dude is crazy tough on QBs (as he should be). Makes you think what the report was on Mac tbh
