  1. Ober should be fucking livid right now

If a FA starting pitcher chose to sign elsewhere because of Rocco “spreadsheet” Baldelli (not that the Pohlad’s would let us start that conversation to begin with), but hypothetically… I’d be like- *ya I totally get it* … and it’s not like the Duran to Jax move doesn’t make rational sense from a game process standpoint- but just realizing that ober is on one tonight and you gotta ride him

0 reason to pull him there. This team wasn’t going anywhere in the playoffs with our 2 stars out for 2 months after suffering “1-2 week injuries” – but holy shit was that frustrating… I need a break from this team for a couple days

Thank god it’s football season 😅

  2. Fuck the Royals – we own the tie breaker, bitch.

Fuck Rocco – take your spreadsheet and shove it up your ass.

Fuck baseball – for making me so goddamn moody and emotional.

  3. This team is completely failing at every single facet of the game. Truly incredible to witness honestly.

  4. Kinda crazy how all 10-ish of their worst losses this season have come in the past month or so. Cannot think of a team limping into the playoffs worse than than us rn. With how low our hopes and feeling and belief in this team is, kinda expect them to make a deep run now. I wanna cry

  5. So sickening. I tuned in late to seeing that Ober was cruising. That was the most predictable loss ever. This team isn’t serious. Need Correa and Buxton back so badly.

  6. Rocco seeing this as a must win game made him think he needs to press all the right buttons. But he shouldn’t have pressed a button at all. Let Ober eat. JFC

  7. This team is thoroughly relegated to just occasional checks of the MLB app for a while. It’s just terrible fucking baseball night after night.

  8. I don’t agree with the decision to pull Ober and Rocco deserves some blame for that.

But the Twins were up by 2 in the 8th inning and handed the ball to their two best relievers and they couldn’t come through while the offense only scored 2 runs. This is on the players, just didn’t play well enough

  9. Going to Duran/jax for the 8th and 9th and people are mad. It shouldn’t be controversial, They just choked.

There’s a lot of decisions Rocco makes that I side eye but this one isn’t one of them. Your two best relievers should be able to hold a two run game.

  10. Well at least the twins kept me entertained right up until football season. And for that I thank them. Time for the Vikings to let me down.

  11. I’m still pissed about them pulling ober and the disaster that followed but Jesus Christ could our offense do anything? They have given us almost no chance to win games. Feel like we are averaging 2 runs a game the past 2 weeks. Just not gonna do it

  12. On one hand, going to your best two bullpen arms is 100% playing for the win and doing what you’d do in a post season game. It should be more than enough to secure a win. They need to be better.

On the other hand, Ober was fuckin cruising man. Idk. A better lineup and it might not have even mattered.

There is not a single section of this team playing well with any consistency. It’s just not a good team right now. I think we have enough of a lead to limp into a wild card spot. But our hopes for any deep October run hinges on Bux and Correa coming back and playing at their peak right away. Also, Royce needs to remember how to hit.
