  3. It’s underrated how much pressure is on Mikal this year. I know he gets to be back in his usual role player mode, but he has a big spotlight on him given that haul NY gave up. Plus, he’s probably going to bump one of the fan favorites in Hart or Divincenzo out of the closing lineup.

    I can see Mikal possibly having a bad playoff series, and Knicks fans going ballistic to play Hart or Divincenzo over him to close games…… which will then lead to a shit storm of takes about what an absurd overpay that trade was.

  5. This is exactly what’s gonna happen. This is the thing

    They lack both a starting and backup center cause Mitchell Robinson is always hurt and a complete non factor on offense.

    They will try to play Randle at the 5 which will not work. Randle didn’t go to Villanova and won’t leave $100 mil on the table cause 1. He’s not stupid 2. Leon rose isn’t HIS godfather. This will cause fans to turn on Randle and possibly the organization as well.

    Teams are gonna do to Brunson what they did to bridges last year – scout the shit out of him. I don’t think he’ll regress much but it wouldn’t shock me.

    They care more about the “nova Knicks” marketing scheme than actually improving the roster or the on court product. I guarantee Ryan Arcionado will get back on the team. They will never move hart or Divincenzo in any deal although they are two very tradable assets.

    I STILL CANT BELIEVE THEY GAVE UP 5 FRP’S FOR A ROLE PLAYER. Although I do think mikal will have a great season for them. It’ll still never justify the trade package they gave us. Thank you Leon.
