Not Bedard. He’s not ready
Foligno hands down. Bedard will get it in a few years, give the kid some time to grow first.

I mean, not Bedard, let’s not make a 19 year old captain in his 2nd season guys. I know he’s the golden boy, but cmon. Let him get a bit of wind under his wings first.

Foligno because he is a disciplined player and can hold the team together then after he retires bedard has to step up
I like the logic behind Foligno. But it’s still weird having a captain play on your 3rd or 4th line.
Murphy might not make it past the trade deadline this year on the team. And Jones…is Jones. I don’t hate him like most of the fan base, but still…

Didn’t Crosby and McDavid get it their second or third year?
Give it to Foligno. Then, when he retires, give it to Bedard.

Nobody. Doesn’t make sense to give it to somebody only to strip out from them, and nobody but Bedard will have it long term.

I see we’ve pulled out the pre-broken jaw photo of Bedard for this
I think they give it to Bedard since he’s the new face of the franchise. And that foligno gets the A, is leader in the block room, and helps Bedard step into the leadership role/captaincy

If not Foligno then nobody.
Let the kid just play and progress without the extra responsibility of being captain
