I was at this game. Nice to see Petco park live for the first time. Webb had a solid outing and Rogers, Doval, and Walker were great out of the bullpen. McCoy had an amazing game with 2 home runs. Good win

padres are not even trying to win, they purposely are shooting for wild card. If they win 1 then they give one back, if they win 2, they give 2 back….anyone with an IQ over 1 can see this.

Cease worrying atm. Looks like someone in need of a rest and a confidence boost. Doesn’t look sharp or keyed in on the mound right now.
I think Merrill was playing his natural game late in games but since the surge of interest in his late game heroics, he’s been forcing his work late in games ever since. The crowd and commentators start going wild when he steps up in the 9th. His expectations grow, he starts looking for magic to happen and he starts swinging big at anything. He needs to relax, forget the hype and expectation so he can return to his normal, natural swing.
God, I hate the giants so much.
