I for one hope they don't do this until this off season , if we win the cup or at least make the finals and show up fine, but I don't want to repeat the same mistake we made with Hank , sign a great goalie but can't afford to pay anyone to play in front of him for the next 10 years.
It's a no brainer Rangers have to hold on to him.
And if we let him go we'll never be able to beat him! Letting go of an elite player is pure stupid, doesn't matter if it's McDavid, Matthews, Crosby, etc. Just because he's a goalie doesn't mean you "let him walk" pay him, play him!
Igor will be worth every penny. He's the best goalie in the NHL.
I feel like it’ll be 8×11-12. He’s more valuable than Panarin & Panarin makes 11.64. Only 5 seasons into his NHL career 2 ECF appearances, 1 vezina & after all that he still has another level to his game we haven’t seen yet.
