My Little Bro is watching from the ICU and needs some Pro-Lions One Pride Shout Out Comments

My brother is in the ICU in the Detroit burbs (I should probably keep private what for) but he’s going to try to watch the Lions game from his hospital bed with my dad.

He’s only in his early 30’s – this ISN’T for money- it’s for friendly comments – his insurance has it. I just want to send him some well wishes on Game 1 which matters more. (he doesn’t know I’m doing this)

He’s NEVER missed a game since he became old enough to understand football. He’s on Reddit but he reads posts but doesn’t post or comment (he says he’s a “lurker” lol)

He’s talked so much about how the Lions have the best fans in the league. My name is GoLionsJD107 and he’s a better fan than me.

I’m 35 years old. Out of state – there’s nothing that I could do that would help him more than seeing some Lions fans show love for my little bro- a Lion lifer. He needs an emotional boost.

  30. I just got off the phone with Coach Campbell, he had this to share:

    “Hey man, look, you’re all laid up in a hospital right now and I GET THAT. The key to recovery is doing the little things EVERY DAMN DAY. If you have to use that little plastic lung exerciser, you do it WITH PURPOSE. You take your prescribed medications WITH PURPOSE. Show respect to your medical team WITH PURPOSE. Man, We are going to do this thing with intent. And, hey, look gentleman, we are in this for the long haul. The men women and children of the Lions subreddit are going to stand shoulder to shoulder with you the whole way, cause that’s the only way we’re getting this thing done.

    All we gotta do man, is grab your malady like a Pterodactyl and hang on. It’s gonna fly you through trouble and discomfort but you’re going to keep a grip on that fucker. He’s gonna get tired and you will ground him into the murky depths of Lake Okonoka and you will hold him there until his Late Jurassic-ass can’t thrash or screech anymore.
