  1. 23 FUCKING STRAIGHT RETIRED VS THE ROCKIES 23

2-4 week vs a mid team and an awful team. Most annoying thing about it is the Marlins actually helped us out and split but we couldn’t beat the Rockies to get back close. A much needed day off and the hardest 13 game stretch of the season.

  2. It’s not personal and I appreciate his years of service, but I never wanna see Milner in a Brewers uniform again and he doesn’t get to go to the ice cream cone factory.

  3. I am as anti-doomer as they come and my hand is hovering over the panic button, not pressing it yet but getting ready too

  4. Theres just no spot for Hoby on this team any more. I’d be shocked if he’s not DFA’ed when Hudson comes back

  5. I’ve fully lost hope on gaining the 2nd seed at this point. Unless we somehow go on a miraculous winning streak against some of the best teams in the league or if Philly just utterly collapses on itself, I really can’t see us being a 2nd seed team.

We’re looking like a 3rd seed wildcard spot right now and it’s all just so frustrating.

This offense is literally the definition of “Sometimes maybe good. Sometimes maybe shit.” (I know that could be for a lot of teams but like c’mon)

  6. This one is pretty clearly the offense’s fault, but also I never want to see Hoby in a high leverage situation again. Appreciate what he did for us last year but this is getting ridiculous.

  7. This is the kind of game that makes me feel like I’ve wasted the whole day by watching it.

  8. I’ll take my downvotes again but I still don’t feel comfortable with that 9 game lead

    This series was embarrassing

  9. There’s just no point getting worked up about any of these games anymore. They won’t catch the Dodgers or Phillies, and they can’t be caught by the Cubs. The rest of the regular season is academic.

All that really matters is keeping everyone important healthy, and praying to every higher power imaginable that Milner and Peguero don’t make the postseason roster. Other than that, it’s a stress-free September.

  10. Trash in so many ways. Offense absolutely putrid against a horrible team. Milner gets his chance to bring himself back in good graces, fails spectacularly. Frelick chosen to pinch-hit for Collins (our only baserunner after the first inning), strikes out on a fastball that almost hit him in the face. Contreras, our DH who has been sitting on the bench for the last 40 minutes, doesn’t have the energy or desire to run out his grounder (hit to someone who had already made a throwing error today – exact same story as a week ago).

I’m not even emotional or angry right now, I’ve accepted the 3 seed, but I was called out for it when I wasn’t happy with the offense, and situational hitting, and Murph, and Contreras’ effort, and deciding to take an arbitrary rest day in the middle of a playoff race a couple days ago. I was annoying no doubt, but like, I was completely 100% spot on with pretty much every complaint, basically everything happened again at some point in this series. This awful week could very well cost us an all-important bye. Hope we’re looking forward to a best-of-3 WC series absolutely primed for fluky bullshit against a likely hot Mets/Braves team.

  11. The only thing that sucks more than the brewers losing is listening to Vinnie Rottino on the postgame show

  12. I’ve just come to the conclusion the brewers are cruising the rest of the season. Gonna play about .500 ball the rest of the way, win 91-92 games, win the division by 7-8 games and then see what the post season brings.

  13. No watchy,so WTF happened this time? B2B series losses, after SF toughest part of the season are they just playing for 3rd or what?
Glad we’re off Monday after Friday nite, then today I’m near the ledge….

  14. Even the Twins overcome their albatross and conquered their Yankees demon. This too shall pass.

  15. I see the first round bye slipping away from us and it scares me. The Brewers have never won a game in the wild card round in franchise history. They’ve scored a total of 10 runs in those games.
Now is not the time for the offense to go cold. Thus after the games we should be winning. We have the Phillies and Diamondbacks coming up, and they are both red hot.

  16. It suck’s the Peralta gets the loss for Milner’s failure. Milner did well for the first half of the season, but he doesn’t belong on the team now.

  17. It is their inability to compete against sub-.500 teams that will cost them the two seed. At least it’ll be sick to have another wildcard flag on the stadium wall…

  18. Seems like offense is reverting back to the bad strategy of just relying on the long ball. The lack of small ball offense lately is alarming, especially this late in the season
