CLEVELAND BROWNS VS. DALLAS COWBOYS INSTANT REACTION: Deshaun Watson struggles in blowout loss
The wait is over and the game is finally here.
The Dallas Cowboys jumped out to an early 20-3 lead in the first half against the Cleveland Browns thanks in large part to stellar play from Dak Prescott and serious struggles from Deshaun Watson.
Watson threw an interception in the first half and didn’t eclipse the 50 yard mark in terms of passing. Dak Prescott found CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks up and down the field to score the game’s first touchdown.

General Manager Andrew Berry acquired Deshaun Watson in a trade with the Houston Texans in March 2022. The Browns gave up a package of six picks, including three first-rounders, in exchange for Watson and one pick from the Texans.Berry and a Stephanski are responsible.

I think if we had better tackle play it would of been different Watson didn’t play good but the wideouts didn’t help as well as the offense.
Everyone wants to give Kevin Stefanski passes. Those play calls were for some rookie or backup. Dallas had a clear game plan to take our D-Line out of it. No running game, no O-Line…you’ve got to adjust and prepare your team better.

This all came back to the offensive line. The offensive line was the problem today. I thought Watson played okay considering his offensive line was a sieve. Parsons is generational. Lawrence is great too. Let’s see how it goes next week.

I think this is on Stefanski the overall gameplan was terrible and also why did we not see Jamari Thrash in the second half once we were down by 23. Thrash should of played the entire 4th. But the play calling script was terrible. Jerome ford was underwhelming . I still like Pierre strong despite his deficiencies. He gets downhill. Which is what is needed. Njoku injury I hope isn’t serious or lingering. And the line approach was terrible
They better be prepared to get a veteran quarterback or draft one. Contract is trash.

Stefanski is the problem. Look at Mayfield now that he is away from Stefanski. He should have never been extended.

Go 1 16 and draft Ewers, Beck or Deion's kid as your next QB. Watson is a $260M BUST and he will cost Berry and Stefanski their jobs if they don't cut the cancer from their team and move on from that stiff #4.
Browns fans don’t want to hear this but Cowboys didn’t look that great either. It’s week 1 so the overreactions are everywhere.
Defenses know that his downfield accuracy is gone after that surgery. Thats why they sent so many blitz packages and played short zone.
my view was Watson just needs to learn the timing game that's why all the 1st half passes were so short they are all dump off cuz he cant read the field free loading he needs to be on timing!!!!
