  3. As a caps fan I’m not sure how to feel about this. CMc has been a favourite of mine and really showed us what he can do. Interesting to hear you talking about him playing on the wing. I don’t know much about Robertson other than a few games I watched him play, the kid can wheel. CMc flaw to me is his size, seems like he’s easily hit off puck or not able to push around out front of the net/ shield puck, he’s a smart kid who I think needs a bit more confidence.

  4. Pretty good thoughts on Leafs-Caps possible trade. Carberry is obviously familiar with Robertson, so there's that as well. Would like to see something get done, lot of us are tired of hearing about Robertson all the time. Lot of air time for a guy who's basically not done much of anything.

  6. McMichael for Robertson is a win-win for both teams. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Washington would want a bit of a sweetener because they know they’d be doing the Leafs a favour by taking Robertson off their hands.

    Re: Swayman: as I've said previously….Swayman is the projected future in the Bs pipes, BUT he's not won anything yet!!!! He hasn't proven himself over several years to merit $9-10 million/season. Last thing Bs want is there version of Jack Campbell. He is worth $7-8 million, and a bridge deal at that salary for 3 years would allow him to prove himself and set the stage for a long-term deal at completion of the bridge.

  11. Really hoping leafs miss the playoffs and it might be possible if Ottawa,n.j,and buffalo get better and hopefully Mitch plays the season out and gets a bidding war for himself and the leafs get nothing like there hero Sundin.
