Collins is a 27 year-old rookie and has played 2B/3B/CF/LF in AAA this year. Switch hitter and his offensive and baserunning numbers look pretty solid on the season. I especially like his walk rate the last two seasons.
On paper, seems like a much better bench piece than Hicklen just due to the versatility.
Not a horrible move

His family was super happy when he got his first base hit! Great to see.
