Daily Minors Quick-Notes 9/8/24 – Single-A’s Final Day as San Jose Gets Momentum for the Playoffs

Today was the last day of the regular season for Single-A, but at least one Giants affiliate has the playoffs coming.  San Jose will go into it with a little momentum after a big win with some players on a roll, but also potentially just lost the team’s 5th round pick to injury.  But on the good news in High-A, 1st round pick James Tibbs III finished hot in Eugene.

AAA: Sacramento 7, Salt Lake Bees 5

  1. So I have a question for the group. If I’m a young promising prospect like Eldridge, what does my offseason look like? Do I take time off? Play ball in other leagues? What about players like Luciano or Matos?
