The Cleveland Browns o-line sucked, Deshaun Watson wasn’t good enough & the Cowboys dominated Week 1

It wasn’t worth the wait.

The Cleveland Browns got boatraced in the season opener by the Dallas Cowboys, 33-17.

Deshaun Watson looked rusty, the offensive line played way below their standard, and the entire summer of promise quickly turned to disgust on Sunday.

The boo birds came out in the second quarter of the game and the fans were 100% justified based on the Browns performance.

Iron Chef Michael Symon also joins the show, and Bernie Kosar does too to break down the loss.

The day started out with so much promise for the Browns, who lost 33-17 to the Cowboys in the opener Sunday amid an ugly return for Deshaun Watson, who was sacked six times and picked off twice.

By the end of the game, he was shaken up hard on one of the Cowboys’ many hits and then strip-sacked at the two-minute warning to add insult to injury.

Before the game, Browns defensive end Myles Garrett visited the Muni Lot to fire up the fans, leading a robust chorus of “Here we go Brownies, here we go!” Once inside the newly christened Huntington Bank Field, Cleveland’s own Machine Gun Kelly pumped up the crowd with a thunderous guitar riff, and a majestic flyover dazzled fans.

Tom Brady was in the house calling his first-ever game for Fox Sports in the nationally televised game of the week, and the Browns were ready to unveil their overhauled offense.

Premier defensive ends Micah Parsons of the Cowboys and Garrett were ready to “duke it out” for bragging rights over the best edge rusher in the land.

Dak Prescott had just signed his blockbuster extension five hours before the game — making him the highest paid player in the NFL at $60 million a year.

Watson, coming off surgery to repair his fractured shoulder, was eager to show the world that he’s still elite and prove his critics wrong.

The Browns, picked by most national experts to miss the playoffs, stated their mission to win a Super Bowl and shock the world.

  1. To the blind…A 53 man roster but 2 of them couldn't play, so we lost. Seems like a personnel management problem. Claiming QB4 is awesome just look at his Houston footage. But, please, keep putting kaiser in there. One of these Sundays he's gonna shine, and they'll shout from the dawg pound see I told you. Didn't sign Flacco because you didn't want a controversy. And just so you know, Kareem Hunt, would have got us more than yardage. Yep, personnel management issues.

  2. Why do we ever trade for qbs it doesn’t work here we literally never do well with our qbs. Our best chance is to groom one thru the draft like we did baker who still till this day is the best browns qb I’ve ever seen in my life I was too young in the 90s before the move.

  3. So are we using PFF for the grades we like or as a whole? PFF said he had all this time to throw so it wasn't the Oline. Interesting, PFF also Said he graded out better than Dak yesterday. We trusting PFF on that one too or just the stats that go against Watson??

  4. I said we were doomed when Kevin Stefanski said he was still calling plays.

Dude is a Walmart coach always getting out coach i don't want to hear about COTY talk.

That 2 COTY awards is flawed he just proved it yesterday

  5. They let baker go to get watson.this shows the coaching staff can't prepare a nfl player like tampa can so fire the head coach its really simple.the proof is on the field or Cleveland is truly cursed when it comes to football

  6. this was the poorest effort I have seen in a long time the offense has no belief in deshaun and it’s concerning. starting to lose faith in swartz cause we can’t stop end arounds rpos and roll outs doesn’t make any sense
