  1. Welp, time to eat my words and offer an apology to anyone I’ve responded to stating there was no shot Kumar was going to be called up.

  2. Wonder if this means Scherzer or Degrom isn’t ready yet.or a different pitcher has an injury.

    Either way this is kind of nuts. Hope Chase Anderson and Matt Festa enjoyed their time here.

  5. His rise has been meteoric. How crazy would it be if our late season rookie call ups two seasons in a row somehow lead to sneaking into the playoffs? Crazier shit has happened.

  15. DeGrom, Leiter, and Rocker, each throwing 99+ a piece, plus Eovaldi, and Bradford. Could be one hell of a rotation next year.

    I would assume these last 3-4 starts for Rocker & Leiter help with the evaluation for who will be in the starting rotation to begin 2025.

    Heaney has been really good recently & his stuff is still super solid. But since he’s worked from the pen the most, I think he’s the automatic guy for relief. With occasional spot starts.
