3. There were, as expected, some mistakes. But to come out and keep it as close as we did I’m proud of the boys! And very excited moving forward.

4. Losing that game sucks. But I will say that the way we did matters. We saw how well our offense can operate vs a good defense. To the extent that it can look unstoppable, even without our supposed best WR doing anything. We verified that our oline can hold up, if it can remain healthy, vs a good pass rush. Murray was essentially untouched in the 1st half on about 25 pass attempts.

   We also realized that Marv and Kyler need to work on some important things. That every rookie has the possibility of having jitters. I like how the announcers mentioned that Jamaar Chase also dropped his first possible reception. We found out that Mack Wilson may be the best free agent signing we have had this year. Dude played that game like a pro-bowler. He was a Belickeck coached player who just never got his chance. Lastly, our flaws on defense were fully exposed. The pressure we get is usually not helpful if those players can't make a tackle on a running QB. We can't defend QBs similar to our own. It was the same thing last year when Justin Fields ran all over us.

   Thankfully, our division doesn't really have these type of QBs. We found out that we have two players on our team with a true Napoleon complex. Who have the confidence and fire in their gut that JG always talks about. I am talking about Greg Dorch off course, who I don't know how anyone can't love after that game. To a lesser extent, Starling Thomas has the ability to be special.
