Ferrario hated on this article earlier today and i’m inclined to believe him. The Wild are the definition of mushy middle team.
We don’t have an ugly cap situation anymore smh.
This doesn’t really bother me. We are purposefully in a retool and I believe Army/Steen have a plan. Nothing wrong with that.
It would be a problem if they were like another STL team that currently has no plan and is run by idiots.
Is it a great place to be? Nope. But it could be worse. We have been in a transition for the last two years. We need to cycle out some of these contracts and see the young guys come up and produce. It’s a couple years away for sure.
Brayden Schenn is not even one of the 5 worst contracts on this team. You could argue it, but he’s not someone that clearly belongs on that kind of list.
I agree we’ll be mid but don’t agree on the idea of us being middling for 3 years. I think by the end of yr 3 we’re a decent playoff team.
