Have we ever had a dunker as smooth as GP2 in the last 10-15 years ? Cause this guy is absolute TNT with a rare swagger to it.

Highlight reel of his that I'm watching. I could bet GP2 was second to Ja for best small dunker in the league back in 2022.

It's his ability to float and get high in the air, especially without much momentum. Straight up cartoon-ish at times. It's like he's ten inches taller.

And ofc his hilarious Itch celebration. I don't think we've had a dunker like him in a while. Iggy, J. Bell and McGee were all okay, but GP2 is another level imo.

Who are your favorite dunkers in team history ? (not called Richardson lol)

  1. The best dunk in Warriors history belongs to Baron Davis. I’ll give Latrell Spreewell a mention, here’s an article about him titled the “[Angriest Dunker ever.](https://ballislife.com/latrell-sprewell/)” (not sure I agree with that hyperbole, but he could dunk with ease while he played for the Warriors, probably better in game dunker than J-Rich). Kuminga might get there. Biedrins got a lot of dunks, but he was just tall and sucked at doing much else. Iggy in his prime with Philly was a prime specimen, but by the time he got to the Warriors he didn’t have that youthful athleticism, but if he was here in that prime, he’d be up there. GP2 is a good candidate for role players though for sure who aren’t hella tall, Nate Robinson did play for us too, but I honestly had to google that to make sure I didn’t misremember that, he goes in Iggy category in that best dunk work was in other unis. We also drafted Vince Carter but traded him for Antawn Jamison (so many finger-rolls)… so for the biggest technicality of an answer, I’ll give VC.

  2. I fear we’ve already seen his best dunks. I think he had like one decent (by his standards) dunk last year. Think it was a put back against OCK. 2022 he had one every couple games.
