I mean we all knew it was going to click for Wells it was only a matter of time.
Plus he's forcing Boone to admit how wrong he was. Don't get me wrong – I love Trevino, I don't want him off the team. However Wells is our starter and clean up guy going into the postseason and that's just facts at this point.
I am happy to see that the Martian has returned to earth. Let's see what the alien can do during the last part of the season. :o)

Great win. Wells is the perfect catcher for this team especially with the short porch. Ian Hamilton though I will stay skeptical with him because his slider A LOT of the time does not slide if you will. He needs another pitch. He misses up way too much. If you are gonna miss it better hit the dirt. Happy he’s back because our bullpen has been horrible.

Chisim is a mlb player who cant throw a baseball. That is amazing.
Rodon always seems like hes on the cusp of greatness but makes a few dumb pitches and gives up 3-4 runs…but hes a strikeout machine…if he can improve his location a bit, Yankees will be very tough to beat in playoffs.

Austin “Thurman Munson” Wells
I started following the yankees again shortly after the all star break. Been constantly checking all summer about the returns of Trevino, Rizzo, and Schmidt in particular. Honestly, didn't even know about Dominguez until Sept 1. I knew about the 95 AB limit, and had a hunch they'd call him up around this time (19 games left). He'd have to play every game and get 5 ABs in every game to hit it. With Hamilton back as well, I hope I can get excited again about possibly winning the division and making a playoff run.
