I’ve been hearing/seeing tidbits of people thinking we’d move on from players like Woolen because we can’t afford all our young talent down the stretch. Hope it’s not the case but if so, I really hope we continue to draft and develop well so we can finally have some homegrown stability (and possibly contend for a ring before they all become too expensive). It’s good to remember though that this year we are tied up with significant dead cap which we can work with later.
Jerrick Reed II may be a promising next-in-line safety. Not so sure abt Pritchett. Also cautiously optimistic about our OL projects and Tyrice Knight.
Idk about QBs in next year’s draft but my ideal situation would be that Geno pops off, we extend him 2-3 more years, extend DK, fill out with talent/needs next year draft, then 2026 and on, hunt for franchise QB to sit behind Geno for a year or so. If it works out, by my calculations we will find the next Mahomes and win 4 straight superbowls.
