In Petey’s defense, he did try to retire when Sean left.
DA thought it wise to actually promote him to play-caller and retain him as OC.
Pete being a shitty play caller doesn’t undo all the work he did designing plays for Sean and Drew, including some of the plays that brought us a Super Bowl. I’m not a fan of shitting on him for being willing to try doing something that was out of his wheel house when he was called upon to do so.
